Capt John Robison, b. 1769 d. 4 May 1808, was the son of Andrew and Margaret (Smith?) Robison. He apparently never married. The following are court/estate documents relating to this family:

On the Petition of JOHN ROBISON, SON & Admr of his Deceased FATHER ANDREW ROBISON, praying an Order Agreeable to the Late Acct of Assembly to Rectify the Lines of Lands of the Said Estate and other Errors Relative thereto, The Court do Grant Said Petition by & with the Consent of the parties (being all present) Do hereby Apoint & Authorize EZEKIEL WALLACE, WILLIAM ORR, JAMES MORRISON & NATHAN ORR, Together with a Surveyor, to meet on the premises to examine the Dispute, Witnesses, etc, and make Return of the Surveyors plat & the Truth of the Case of Oath at our next Court.

Agreeable to an Order of this Court on the Petition of JOHN ROBISON, SON & Adm of ANDREW ROBISON, decd, was returned the proceeding of the Jury of View and Agreed to by the Said JOHN & JAMES McCAUL [McCALL] and Admitted to Record Viz: A plat for 277 acres of Land by Zaccheus Wilson, Surveyor, & Ordered to be Registered.

Pursuant to an order of Court we the under named Subscribers, being duly Sworn, have Settled the Landed Estate of ANDREW ROBISON, late deceased, in Manner following Viz:

1st. The Tract of Land on which MARGRET ROBISON, WIDOW of lated Deceased, now lives containing 200 acres to be JOHN ROBISONS after the Death or Marriage of the Widow.

2d. The upper part of the hold plantation that the late decd lived on joining HENRY HOUSTON, ROBERT MITCHELL & the place on which the widow now lives to be ROBERT ROBISON containing 296 acres & the Said Robert is to pay to THOMAS BOWL [BOAL] ROBISON the sum of L10.

3d. The upper part of the Plantation formerly JAMES WYLIEs joining ROBERT MORRISON, WILLIAM JOHNSTON, & JAMES McCAUL [McCALL] Containing 164 acres to be HARRIS ROBISONS & Said Harris Robison to pay Thomas B[oal] Robison L30.

4th. The lower part of the Plantation formerly JAMES WYLIEs to be ANDREW ROBISONs joing ROBERT MORRISON, JAMES STAFFORD & JAMES ROBISON containing 270 acres & the aid Andw. Robisoin to pay Thos. B[oal] Robison L30.

5th. The lower part of the old plantation joining ROBT. ROBISONs part, JOHN ROBISONs part, JOHN McGEE & HOGSHEADs old place containing 226 acres to be THOMAS BOWL [BOAL] ROBISONs.

The above mentioned sums to be paid in Good Horses or Cattle at cash price & not to bear interest until Thomas B[oal] Robison is OF LAWFUL AGE.
