Hello,
Have you checked out the Allen Robinette family tree? From what I am gathering, your Samuel Robinette was a son of John and Mary Robinette?Well, apparently your Samuel has a couple of brothers, John, Jeramiah, Zebulon, who ended up in Adams Co/Jefferson Co and some parishes in Louisiana, in the early 1800's.John Robinette traveled from Greene County Georgia into Kentucky with William Cessna and then after Muhlenberg Co, Ky, then moved to Adams Co, Mississippi in 1801 where they settled. Some of their kids married in Jefferson Co in the early 1800's.One of William Cessna's sons,Charles Cissna, married into the Osburne family. It is suspected that some of the other Robinette families came into Mississippi at a different time after John and Cessna........probably traveling there with the Robinettes.I know there were Robinettes in Greene Co, Georgia also.
Hope this helps.I am not Robinette but Cessna but have been tracking these families because I suspect an intermarriage between the families and now that I know that the Robinettes and Osburnes were intermarried, I am sure that there is some connection.
Good luck,
Cheryl Cessna
