Evelyn (O’Connor) Dillon Robillard, 81, of Nashua, NH died January 3, 2010 at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua.

Evelyn was born on June 9, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Vera (Goulding) O’Connor.

Lyn, as her friends knew her, was a longtime resident of Lowell, MA before moving to NH, where she lived in Pittsburg, Concord, Merrimack and Nashua.

She graduated from St. Johns Hospital Nursing School in Lowell, MA, class of 1948. Lynn worked at St. Johns and St. Joseph hospitals in Lowell, MA, Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as private duty nursing.

Lyn loved snowmobiling, swimming, dancing and fishing. She was also a prolific reader and enjoyed needlework.

She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church (aka Gateway Christian Fellowship) of Hollis and the First Baptist Church of Concord, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Robillard, who died in 1993. She is survived by her former husband, Joseph Dillon of Dorchester, MA. Members of her family include her daughter, Shaelagh Dillon of Nashua; her 5 sons, Michael Dillon, Kerry Dillon and his wife Sandy all of Nashua, Sean Dillon and his wife Donna of Lowell, MA, Mark Dillon of Colebrook, NH and Timothy Dillon and his wife Jane of Concord, NH.

Lyn was blessed with 9 grandchildren, Timothy Lussier, Ryan, Matthew, Kaleigh, Grant and Greg Dillon, David, Thomas and Jake Yandell. In addition she has two great-grandchildren, Cogan and Devlyn Lussier.

Lyn also leaves behind her brother Timothy O’Connor of Lexington, MA and 2 nieces, Roberta O’Connor and Margaret Maher.

Her Calling Hour will be held at the Community Chapel, 55 St. Laurent St, Nashua on Wednesday from 10 to 11AM with her service immediately following at 11:00AM. Donations can be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., PO Box 631047, Baltimore, MD 21263. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
