Marguerite Robillard and Noel Gelinas are also my g-g-greatgrandparents, through Claude Gelinas and Flavie Bonin (who had 11 children and migrated in 1848 from Quebec to St Joseph, Ontario), through Joseph Gelinas (b.1847) and Marguerite Durand, through Joseph Gelinas (b.1880) and Mary Denomme, through my mother, Grace Gelinas). I find there's lots of info out there about the family's origins in France (tho of two schools) and about Etienne and Jean here, but from Pierre and Michel on I'm invariably led astray into 'Lacourse' so my own tree is sort of twigless for Noel--Claude. I'd be happy to trade any info, cousin(s)... I'm sure there are lots of you out there!
