My apologies, Lee, for misunderstanding your original post. You have provided a lot of really excellent information, which I will keep when I am able to get my Robichaud family I am researching back to those days.

In more recent history, the Robichauds I am looking at lived in Shippegan, Inkerman and St-Isadore, Gloucester County, New Brunswick.

Names I am looking for are Dosithé Robichaud, Louis Robichaud and Jean Robichaud - I believe they are from the paternal side as both of Louis Robichaud's (the person I am doing the research for) parent'surname is Robichaud. Father's name is Edmond, born about 1935 (he has a sister Ella, married to Jean-Paul Robichaud, and residing in Inkerman, NB); mother's name is Jeannine - they married on 3 Jul 1956 in St-Isadore.

I think Dosithé Robichaud is Louis' grandfather; Louis Robichaud is his gr-grandfather; and Jean Robichaud is his gr-gr-grandfather (but I cannot understand his notes for me very well; need to contact him again).

I have found many dates for the above mentioned grandfather, etc. but I can't tell who is who ... as I said, I need more info from Louis.

Again, my apologies.
