In the 1861 Census I have two families with the same surname (Robertson), both heads of families have the same trade (Shipwright/Ship Joiner) and both families live in the same street (next door but one) and they are of the same generation. It seems to much of a coincidence for them not to be related in some way, but I am having difficulty proving it either way. Can anybody out there help?
