In 1851, Thompson Robertson filed a chancery lawsuit in Pittsylvania County, Virginia against the estate of James Bruce who had died in 1814. It is likely Thompson Robertson was also an heir of James Bruce by birth or marriage. Do you know who was he married to or how he might be connected to the Bruce Family? (I am working on the Bruce line. My Robertson ancestor was a relatively recent immigrant.)
