I found Raoul in the 1901 census of St Hyacinthe (see http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census/DisplayHousehold.jsp?sdid=6930&household=127 )

It indicates that he was born 21 Jul 1885 as the son of Joseph and Emelie Robert. I have in my database a Louis Joseph Robert who married an Emilie Bonnier dit Plante on 05 Oct 1885 at Cathédrale in St Hyacinthe so either Raoul was born a little early to an underage couple (he was born in 1866 and she in 1869) or the birth year is wrong in the census. Anyway my database contains much information on his ancestors and siblings, see
