Hi Steven and many thanks for your input. Since my last post I have been able to put the following together for that particular line:
Descendants of Lieutenant William Robe (12424)
Generation One
1.LIEUTENANT WILLIAM1 ROBE (12424) was born circa 1733. He married Mary Broom (12425). He died on 1 Jul 1814 at Woolwich, Kent.He was buried in Jul 1814 at St Mary Parish Cemetary, Woolwich, Kent.
MARY BROOM (12425) was born circa 1737. She died on 10 Feb 1783 at Woolwich, Kent. She was buried at Parish of Woolwich, Kent. Her married name was Robe.
The two known children of Lieutenant William1 Robe (12424) and Mary Broom (12425) were as follows:
+2 i. [SIR]WILLIAM2 ROBE (12427) was born in 1765. He married Sarah Watt (12428), daughter of Captain Thomas Watt (12429), in 1788 at Canada.
3 ii. SUSANNA ROBE (12426) was born circa 1768. She died on 14 May 1840 at Woolwich, Kent.She was buried at Parish of Woolwich, Kent.
Generation Two
2.[SIR] WILLIAM2 ROBE (12427) (William1) was born in 1765. He married Sarah Watt (12428), daughter of Captain Thomas Watt (12429), in 1788 at Canada. He died on 5 Nov 1820 at Shooters Hill, Woolwich, Kent. He was buried in Nov 1820 at Parish of Plumstead Family Vault, Kent.
SARAH WATT (12428) died on 4 Feb 1831. As of 1788, her married name was Robe.
The nine known children of Sir William2 Robe (12427) and Sarah Watt (12428) were as follows:
4 i. WILLIAM LIVINGSTONE3 ROBE (12500) was born in 1791. He died on 19 Jun 1815 at Battle of Waterloo.
He was (an unknown value) on 9 Apr 1805 a Cadet Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent. He wason 3 Oct 1807 at Royal Military Academy, Obtained Comission Second Lieutenant, Woolwich, Kent.
5 ii. MARY ANN H ROBE ROBE (12509) was born in 1791 in Canada.
6 iii. ALEXANDER WATT ROBE (12501) was born in 1793. He died on 2 Apr 1849 at St Johns, Newfoundland.
Lieutenant Colonel in the Royal Engineers of Saint Johns , Island of Newfoundland. He left a will on 19 Sep 1849 at Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
7 iv. ELIZABETH ERSKINE ROBE (12506) was born in 1798 at Woolwich, Kent. She died Sept Q 1874 at Woolwich, London, Kent.
8 v. THOMAS CONGREVE ROBE (12502) was born in 1799 at Woolwich, Kent. He married Elizabeth Richards (12516) on 4 Jul 1826 at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales. He died on 21 Sep 1853 at Bermuda, Yellow fever.
ELIZABETH RICHARDS (12516). As of 4 Jul 1826, her married name was Robe.
9 vi. FREDERICK HOLT ROBE (12503) was born in 1800 at Quebec, Canada. He married Louisa Georgiana Matthie (12507) Dec Q 1856 at Chelsea, London. He died in 1871 at Australia.
Was the fourth Governor of South Australia, from 25 October 1845 to 2 August 1848.Robe entered the army in 1817, following his father, Sir William Robe who was a colonel in the Royal Artillery. Frederick Robe fought in the Syrian campaign of 1840-1, and was military secretary in Mauritius and Gibraltar before being appointed as Governor of South Australia in 1845. He was not popular as the governor. After requesting to be relieved of the post of governor, he was posted again to Mauritius as deputy Quartermaster. The town of Robe, South Australia is named after him.

Fourth son of Sir William Robe, colonel, royal artillery, was born probably in 1801. He entered the army in 1817, was promoted lieutenant in 1825, captain in 1833, and brevet-major in 1841. He fought with distinction in the Syrian campaign in 1840-1, became military secretary at Mauritius, and was holding the same office at Gibraltar when he was appointed governor of South Australia.He died on 4 April 1871.

He and Louisa Georgiana Matthie (12507) appeared on the census of 1861 at 5 Palace Terrace, Colonel in the Army, Kensington, London.
LOUISA GEORGIANA MATTHIE (12507). Her married name was Robe.
10 vii. GEORGE MOUNTAIN SEWELL ROBE (12504) was born in 1802. He died in 1825 at Burmese War Adjutant died on passage to Chittagong.
11 viii. CAROLINE PROCTER CADDY ROBE (12508) was born in 1806 at Canada. She died in 1853 at Greenwich, Kent.
12 ix. VIMIERA ROBE (12505) was born in 1809 at Woolwich, Kent. She died in Dec 1893 at 4 The Common Woolwich, Kent.
I am still trying to connect these ROBE to my ROBE who were in DEPTFORD, WOOLWICH Kent at the same time.
