This Thomas might have lived in Maryland at one time but also owned land in Accomack County. He was probably b. ca. 1700 or a little earlier. He married Temperance LNU and then moved to York County, VA and opened an Ordinary (tavern).
-He wrote a will in 1725 and died in 1729 in York County.
Before he died he became the guardian of John Davis, son of
William Davis, dec'd.
Will mentions brothers Richard and John and wife Temperance.
At the time of his death his widow renewed license to run tavern and received security from John Butterworth.
Two months after Thomas died, Temperance became the guardian of Elizabeth Davis, daughter of William Davis.
In 1730, Temperance Robins married William Calvert/Colvert/
Colvard. They remained in York Co until 1732 and then moved
to Henrico County.
In 1744 William Calvert died and John Robins (brother of Thomas) became the guardian of one of William and Temperance's children.
