Thanks so much for responding to this query. I don't know a lot about Daniel other than he was born about 7 April 1823. The Iowa cemetery records list his death at 19 Nov 1887 and his wife's name is Elsie Rockwell.
Daniel, Elsie and children are in Henry County, Ohio in 1850. They are in Buchanan County, Iowa in 1860 and Hancock County, Iowa in 1870.
How did you find that Daniel had a brother? Perhaps that might tell us if we are talking about the same Daniel Robbins.
Some of Daniel and Elsie's children are John, Susan, Polly, Phebe Ann, and Rose. On the 1850 census there is a Susan Robins and George Robins living with them - perhaps siblings of Daniel's?
