I purchased the subject divided back RPPCs (Real Photo Postcards) (neither one postally used) as a set, believing they are probably from one family collection and depict the same individual at different ages. The photo of the infant, printed by Vincent-Mitchell Studios, Philadelphia, PA, and Baltimore, MD, is identified on the back: "To Grandmother Harry P. Robbins 2 months 1 week" This postcard bears a "Cyko" mark where the postage stamp would go. This dates it to 1904 to 1920s, but the divided back reduces this date range to mid-1907 to 1920s. However, it could be a reprint made from a much older negative. The second photo, depicting a young man dressed in what appears to be a U.S. Army uniform with a wagon wheel sleeve patch, is identified on the back: "Wagoner H. P. Robbins. Taken Aug 20, 1917 Died Jan 18, 1918" I found a possible match in a World War I draft registration card for Harry P. Robbins, born 26 Jul 1895 in Naples, NY, registered at Prince Georges, MD, on 5 Jun 1917, at age 21, when he was working as a barber in Washington, DC. Contact me if you wish to view these photos.
