I have a surname of Robart. It does not end in S. I have tried to open access to GenForum. I have been told it is viewed as a variation of Robarts. I am convinced it is not as I have found no similarities between these two surnames involving variations. I have found several variations from Robart such as Rubart, Rubarts, Rhubart, Rewbart, etc. I still find no apparent connection to Robarts. The first Robart I have is a will for Vincent Robart in Amwell Twp., Hunterdon Co., N. J. in 1714. I believe the variations to this began in the early 1800's.
