Have verified through Cornish Forefather's Society in Cornwall that Francis Robarts married Thomas Vivian in Truro in May 1641. The person in Australia who sent me
this information said she was from a wealthy family. But
do not know if there is a connection with the Robartes of
Lanhydrock near Bodmin, Cornwall. We just visited there
two weeks ago. The last Robartes heir gave the estate to
the National Trust in 1953.
