I'm looking for information on the above, and specifically anything indicating that he may have had a daughter who married Merle F. Johnson, my late father, in 1943. Merle Johnson's first marriage ended in divorce (the marriage broke up while he was overseas in the Army in WWII) and he left practically no information on it to his descendants via his second, more successful marriage. About all we have to go on is a note in a WWII-vintage address book with an address of "Mrs. M. F. Johnson c/o C. H. Robards, Kennett" -- suggesting, but not proving, that the latter might have been his father-in-law.
