Teresa, I do not descend from John and Phebe ROORK, but I became acquainted with the Taylors and Mammingas about fifteen years ago, when I began the search for my own ancestors, and have remained interested in their ROORK line.
The only information I have that you might not--at least, I have never seen it mentioned anywhere--is a second marriage for Phebe, the widow of John ROORK, which I came across at a Rootsweb website:
1882 Boone County, Arkansas
Transcribed Marriage Licenses
Marriage Book B, page 218
HARRIS, William A., age 59, of Bellefonte to ROORK, Phoebe, age 59, of Harrison
Unfortunately, that doesn't get us any closer to identifying the ancestors of John ROORK.
