While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obituary. While I am in no way related to this person, I wanted to post it in case it is helpful to someone else. Lowell Sun Lowell MA November 13, 1922 ROARK - Frank Roark, dean of the Street Railway men of the Eastern Massachusetts road, died yesterday morning at his home, 70 Cosgrove street. He was born in Ireland and came to this country with his parents when a child, and had been a resident of Lowell for the past 60 years. He was one of the oldest in point of service on the local street railway, his service extending was a conductor over 35 years. He was a recently retired and placed on the pension list. He is survived by four daughters, Miss Katherine Roark of lowell, Mrs. A. R. Harris of Brookline, Mrs. F. E. Laycock of Lawrence and Mrs. C. E. Cornock of this city; three sons, John of Boston, Frank of Charlestown and William of this city; three sisters, the Misses Mary, Rose and Elizabeth Roark , all of Lowell, and four grandchildren. He was a member of the Street Railway men's union. Notify Administrator about this message?
