I found another record:

http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/m/c/e/Dolores-Mcelroy-Saint-Petersburg/FILE/0001text.txt

that shows that Mrs. Elizabeth Roane (Lumpkin) Eubank later married William S. Jeffries (born 1797), who was a son of a Thomas Jeffries and a Susan Carlton. I also noted the Swepson/Swepston name in this file.

I am not sure just how the Thomas Jeffries who married Ann Adams Smith (and who had Thomas Hancock Jeffries) "connects" to all of the Jeffries shown in the above file....but Thomas Jeffries and Ann Adams Smith ALSO used the "Swepson/Swepston" surname as a "given name" for one of their children.
