Hello, I am researching Roane Slaveowners.
I have found a civil war record of an Anthony Rhone. He enlisted in the 1st Colored calvary union army in 1864. On record he states that he was born in King William Virginia about 1854.
Iam looking for any slave records that the Roane family may have had to see which family Anthony belonged to. Please help, Thank You Helen
