Yes, I am still working on the family tree, but not very actively. I have your Rep. John Jones Roane (1794-1869) as a brother of my Samuel Roane, M.D. (1807-1842). I have both men as two of the sons of Rep. John Roane (1766-1838). My primary source is a paper called "Roane of King William County" published in 1950 by Elizabeth Hawes Ryland. This can be found in the Library of Virginia. I am always glad to share anything I have with fellow researchers.
