I am NOT looking for COUNTIES named Roane, I am looking for information on ROANE FAMILIES of VIRGINIA. The mention of NC was incidental as I've also noticed the surname there and in Tennessee.

I am looking for leads to the family of an ancestor. I have a marriage record from Wythe County, VA, and would like to know about her family.

I have lived in Roane County, and am aware of it's history, but the counties are only incidental to my research.
