John Roane c. 1745 VA Presbyterian Minister

There was apparently a grand jury presentment in Williamsburg, VA circa 1745 against Rev. John Roane, a Presbyterian minister, as well as Thomas Watkins and Joshua Morris, for charges associated with the practice of their Presbyterian faith. See <http://mywebpages.comcast.net/davies/archives/Chope_as_Old_Nick.htm>. Does anyone have any information on Rev. John Roane? Did he stay in Virginia or move on? Did he have a family? Is he associated with the Roane family of Essex and King William Co.?
