From Genealogy Library of SLC computer files. Do not know what documents information based on. Would have to look at the microfilm of the submission of information to find that. There is a Sarah Roane b 1763 F Thomas, M Mary Ann Hipkins. She is the only Sarah Roane in the file that lives at right time and place to be the Sarah Campbell who m Hugh Campbell
abt 1782 in Va. No parents are given for Hugh. Hugh and Sarah had a son, Hugh, b 1784 in Va.
You can phone your nearest Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Sun. is best day to find someone at the church) to find out where your nearest branch of the genealogy library here in SLC is. The branches have the same computer files as we do here in the main library. There is no charge to use the branches' facilities. They also have the Catalog of the Main library's holdings. The library does not loan its books, but the branch can order any film from the main library for you. There is a small fee for that to cover postage and packaging. Hope this is helpful.
