Quick followup note to my prior question. I forgot to include it but it might prove of benefit in running down Andrew Littleton Roaden.
The Littleton Ratton who married in Texas might be the son of Thomas Littleton Roden of Blount, Alabama. Thomas purchased land from Josias Fowler and got a Patent on the land. He also appears in the 1830 census of Alabama as Thomas L. Roden where he had two children under the age of 5.
By the 1840 census he was gone and a Thomas of the correct age is showing up in Texas.
Seems highly coincidental to me.
