Betty, who posts at this genealogy forum sometimes, was kind enough to contact me and give me some information about young James. I was mistaken in my previous post saying James Jr. was born in 1792. I mixed up his birthdate with his father's death date. Betty had a copy of young James's indenture papers indicating that he was bound out in 1798. His age was listed as 14, showing that he was born about 1784. This would make him old enough to be the father of Thomas (born ca. 1804) and Isaac (born 1811) who were in Georgia after 1830. Thanks to Betty for the correction.
