Pauline, Thank you so much for your help! I had totally overlooked Rollow/Rolla Roach. I didn't know what his parentage was in relation to Frank because he was listed as a boarder without any familial relationship listed. Do you know why it wouldn't have said "brother"? After I posted this I found a family tree online that listed Samuel P. Roach, and listed his wife as Loruhama Inglewright. That might be the "Hame" (on the census) and the "Lou" (on the family search Rolla J. Roach page). This tree lists a source for a marriage license between Samuel P. Roach and Loruhama Inglewright (Berrien County Records Repository) but I haven't confirmed it myself. A woman from Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness is going to do a lookup of Frank and Fannie's marriage license for me. I have a digital copy of the front page, but she is going to look and see if there is any additional information, to hopefully lock down that his father was indeed Samuel P. Roach. I don't know where or when Frank Roach or Fannie Roach died. In the 1920 Census from Alger, MI, my grandfather and grandmother are listed (Elmer and Kate Roach). Also on the same page is a Frank Roach listed, with a son and a daughter, but no sign of Fannie, so I assume she passed before 1920. I can't make out what the son and daughter's names are though...it's from Heritage Quest and sometimes their images are of very poor quality. You are so kind to have helped me. I really appreciate it! I'm pretty new to this, and am self-taught so any help is really handy. This part of my tree has really been hard. Every person is like pulling teeth!
