Yes, Francis' highly detailed obit did not mention his wives or children. When Seannah married, Francis' wife's name appeared as Jean on their consent. When he sold land in 1819 in Madison County, the County clerk listed his wife's name as Jane when he entered the deed into the record. I do not know whether it was the same woman or not. Based on spaces between his children's births, he probably was married twice.

I have found nothing further about the other David Roach in Madison County records.

Francis's daughter Caty was granted 400 acres of land in Livingston County,KY in 1803; it was surveyed in 1805, and abutted Matthew's land. The survey was witnessed by John Roach. Caty appears to have lived with Francis' son William in Caldwell County, KY after Francis left for IL. Caty married Thomas Grubbs in 1815 in Caldwell County, and died there between 1820 - 1823.
