We have traced our Roach Tree back to Thomas R. Roach born 2-20-1794, and died 5-11-1866 in Orange Co. Indiana.
Thomas was married to Edith Johnson Roach. Born 5-1-1787 and died 6-21-1862.
Both are buried in Stampers Creek Cemetery.
They had ten Children:
Alexix H., David,Joseph J.,Hiram F. Ruth C., Millie E. and William R.
Family legend has his parents coming over from Ireland. We desperatly need a lead, any lead to confirm this. They may have came in through North Carolina.
David, Joseph,and Hiram were all born in North Carolina.The other three were born in Orange Co, all apear to be buried in Orange Co.
We have absolutely hit a brick wall with G-G-G-Grandfather Thomas R. Roach. Has anyone run into any information to lead us to his parents?
