Hello, Virginia

I'm not sure we're talking about the same Myrtha since your note didn't have her in Portland, OR. But here is what I have:

PORTLAND OR Marrige Records> LeRoy F. Turner, aged 21, residing at 1105 E 30th took out a license to marry Myrtha L. Rizor, aged 20, residing at 707 Holman St. on 16 August 1922. An affidavit was given for them by Harry L. Heckrotte, who resided at 525 E 38th St. They were married on the 16th by, and at the house of, Geo. H. Bennett, a Methodist Minister residing at 96 Alberta. Portland OR. Witnesses were Joseph M. Huffsmith and Alice E. Huffsmith.       The marriage is recorded in book 55, page 189 of Multnomah County Marriages.

My father was LeRoy and Myrtha was his 1st wife. After marrying in Portland they returned to Palm Beach, FL where Myrtha died 4/26/1923, 8 months and 11 days after they married. She is buried at the Woodlawn Cem. Blk 32 Lot 98 WPB Fl.
She has a simple headstone which reads:
Myrtha Turner
1900 -- 1923
