Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My father's family came from South Wales during the depression. My grandfather Frederick Rixon originally came from London but moved to South Wales after the Frst World War. The family lived around the Rhonda area (Mardi, Tonypandy, Tonarevil(?spelling). His sister, Alice, was the seventh child of a seventh child and became a clairvoyant who settled in Weston Super Mare.
I have only just started to look at the family history and will folow postings with interest.
John Rixon (Born 1955)
