I am sending you all the info I have on the Andersons.My line is via Elizabeth's second husband so the Anderson line isn't one I've done much research on. There is a guy who has done a lot of Anderson work but I can't recall his name at the moment.I will try and connect you with him.Good luck.
Elizabeth Rixey was married twice, the first time bef5/28/1752 to John Anderson who died by early 1758.They had two children by that marriage,
1) Pressley b abt 1752 in VA d abt 8/11/1816 in Bath Co, KY m Elizabeth Steele. (went to Kentucky)
2) Sally b abt 1754 d bet 1827 & 6/1834 m 1) William Leach (they had son John) m 2): to James Hill, 11/19/1788 m 3) to Samuel Moore, 11/11/1799, Fauquier, Va.
On 27 Aug 1753, Richard Rixey was appointed Surveyor of the road in the room of John Anderson.

Prince William Co., VA - Minute Book 1752-3, PP. 6-7May 28, 1752:Nicholas Anderson, witness for Thomas Brown and Richard Hazelwood. Same p. 7. Elizabeth, wife of John Anderson, witness.Elizabeth inherited 100 acres of land from John.This land transferred to Nehemiah when they married (by 1760).
An occurrence of Elizabeth Anderson (widow) is found in the "Records of Dettingen Parish, Prince William Co., VA", Vestry Book, 1745-1785, Dec. 11, 1758. (Library of Congress Number 76-28678)
"At a Vestry Summoned and held forin Dettingen Parish on Monday the 11th of December 1758 for Laying the Levy.... ...Revd. James Scott, Minister...To Eliza. Anderson Widow three Levys overcharged 129.." (pounds of tobacco)
An occurrence of Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson is found on ledger page 202 as a purchaser from the Dumfries Store of John Glassford and Company of Virginia and Maryland, between 1758-1759. Record microfilmed at the Library of Congress, Roll 62 of Shelf Number 18,978. Richard Rixey is recorded having made a purchase on pages 133 and 164. Source The Virginia genealogist, Vol.24, pages 123 and 129.
Chopawamsic Baptist Church Records
"Here, in the Colony of Virginia firmly desiring to be constituted and established into a distinct church of the same denomination, faith and order and being at our request freely dismissed for that purpose from the church in Fauquier aforesaid. And appears by a letter signed by several members of that congregation ---- date August 9th, 1766. Hoping it may be to the glory of God and our edification, these subscribers in the presence of God solemnly unite as a religious body to worship him, to celebrate his ordinances, to manifest his truth and to promote his honor in the world....."
The declaration concluded:That all disputes may as far as possible be avoided and peace, concord and unity maintained by the blessing of God for which we pray and in testimony of our union herein we have all set our hand this day of our constitution being the 22nd day of November 1766.
