RIX, JAMES b. 1657

This website may explain the confusion in death dates:(http://www.miserybay.com/robinson/puthere/13.htm)
My dates came from Guy Rix whose notes said the original stone said: J.R. 1711. This website says it said M.R. 1711. Thus Margaret may have died in 1711 leaving James to die in 1729 as you have stated. My records agree with yours with the following exceptions:
All birth dates were from christenings at First Church, Salem and ones with death dates are buried in Rixtown Cemetery, Preston, New London, CT near the Rix farm.
I have that James's mother was either Margaret Ward or Uggs.
James's wife Margaret was born about 1658 in Salem. I have James chr. Apr 1685 (not Aug), Thomas chr. in 1693, Lydia in 1696 and another daughter Abagail chr. 1680. Another daughter Margaret is listed as b 1700, Wenham which is suspect since all the others were in Salem.
