Justin,
My name is Anita McDowell(Smith) My g-grandmother was Ada Belle Rives-Cobb whose father was Littleberry William Rives. Our direct line came from England and I have info dating back to the 1400's there is a book The relics of the Rives written by James Childs Rives which is very interesting. It does have some inaccurate information though as it says my g- grandmother died in childhood when she actually died an old lady in 1952. E-mail me, we may be related and I will be glad to share info. I haven't been doing this all that lon my self so I am a beginner but I find it very interesting.
