I am trying to determine if Martha RIVERS was a descendant of Pocahontas. I have received information that her grandparents were Richard JONES (b about 1702 Surry County, Virginia, mar 1724, and d 18 Feb, 1774 Surry County, Virginia) and Ann HAMILTON (b 1708 or 1709 Prince George Co., VA). There were supposed to have been HAMILTONS and JONES in Pocahontas's descendants.

Also, another researcher used this as a source: R. Bolling Batte Papers, LVA Home Page, card 27 of 145. Does anyone know the contents of this source?

Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much!
