I am looking for descendents of Julius Antonio Rivera. He was born July 4, 1885 and died August 30, 1957. He was married to Rebecca A. Wentz Little Rivera. He is of Indian ancestry and may have performed in early western films and worked as a mailman. At the turn of the century 1900 – 1918 time frame he may have lived in San Gabriel, CA.
Hey may have had his story and picture in Native American dress published in a major magazine such as Newsweek and had his picture taken with Calvin Coolidge. His immediate family members of modern era lived in East LA. California.
He was known by his nick name Hoolier.
He is buried with his wife Rebecca in Rosehills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA.
