I am trying to trace back my Family Tree and in doing so maybe some of us can be helpful to one another. My Family is Figueroa/Rivera. My Grandfather was Ermelindo Figueroa Rivera & Albertina Ortiz Rivera de Figueroa. They were cousins and children of the two sisters Juana Rivera Clas & Julia Rivera Clas.
My grandfather Ermelindo had brothers named Ysmael Figueroa Rivera(kids were Delia, Delsi & Guadalupe), Geraldo Figueroa Rivera, Lelo Figueroa Rivera and sisters named Victoria, Lila, Maria Figueroa Rivera de Colon, Amada Figueroa Rivera de Ortiz(whom I just found) & a sister named Amparo Figueroa Rivera.
My great grandmother Julia Rivera Clas married Pablo Figueroa Rodriguez and he was from Ponce and they were both born like around 1880 according to the 1910 census. That is where the trail ends. They later moved to el Barrio Quebradas, Guayanilla, PR. If you know any information related to this I would really appreciate any feedback to northnewark@hotmail.com or just reply all- we could be related! I have more Figueroa names to throw at you too. Just let me know.
