I made a mistake in the post. According to what I've pieced together, Eleanora was born 27 Feb 1835 in Newport, VT. She was my great-grandmother. On her gravestone, it has Gabriel Richards as her husband, married 22 Mar 1860. I could never find them in any records, even the cemetery records have the plot listed under Eleanora and Joseph White, second husband, married in 1880. It turns out Gabriel (also called Peter Richards in some census records) was Gabriel Richer dit Lafleche. The name was anglicized. I wish there was a way of correcting my original post without deleting it and starting over.
