I have been on the hunt for my blood line for quite some time, and only recently found crucial missing links.
I grew up in Coon Rapids. I need to find relatives that were kept from us for reasons of personal grudges. I will start with the oldest, and work my way down.
Benjamin Leon Rivard; unknown wife, unkown dates of birth/death. He was born in the mid 1800s, and had 2 kids; Eugene Francis Rivard (1884-1951)and Paulette Marie Rivard (unkown dates). Eugene Francis was married to Isabelle Rivard (1898-1951). They gave birth to 2 boys, Kenneth E. Rivard (1917-1997) and Robert Eugene Rivard (unkown dates, thought to still be alive). Kenneth Rivard is my grandfather, and we never knew his brother due to a falling out years ago.
Kenneth was married to Lydia Francis Rivard (1922-1989), and they gave birth to my uncle Jerome Kenneth Rivard (1946) and my father Eugene Robert Rivard (1949).
We are hoping to find out more about Benjamin Rivard, and previous. If anyone out there is familiar with this branch of Rivards, please let me know all you can.
I have come to the conclusion that we are a very seperate line from the other Rivards in the Minnesota/Western Wisconsin area.
