Dexter Bond married Lucy A. Ritterbush on 18 October 1846 in NH. She was born about 1825 in possibly Eden, VT, the daughter of --- Ritterbush and Lydia Phelps.
from Massachusetts Archives Deaths 1875 Vol. 275, p. 37, Lucy A. (Ritterbush) Bond died 1 October 1875 in S. Hadley, MA, age 50 years, 6 months, b.p. Eden, VT, daughter of Charles & Lydia. The informant gave Charles Ritterbush's b.p. as Canada and Lydia, b.p. as N.Y. (this should likely be VT as Lucy's b.p. is listed as Eden, N.Y. with the N.Y. crossed out and VT entered above the cross-out). Her age of 50-6 would give her a birth date of March or April 1825.
Can anyone identify this Charles Ritterbush as the Ritterbush who married Lydia Phelps?
