Am looking for information on a James Ritt who lived in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. He fought in the Civil War on the Confederate side. He was part of Company A, 9th Infantry Regiment, Virginia. 1860 Virginia Census gave me the following information:
James, age 33, occupation: wood cutter
wife, Emily J., age 24
son, Benjamin J., age 5
daughter, Sidney A.B., age 3
son, James W., age 2
daughter, Laura F., age 5/12
