My ancestor, Peter Ritchie, married Sarah Jane Moore in St Johns, Newfoundland, in 1842. He was born in Dumbarton, Scotland, and sailed for Australia in 1852 after 4 of his children were born in St. Johns. Newfoundland. He had brothers, Archibald,John, and sisters Agnes and Janet mentioned in St Johns. Sarah Jane had a father James Kirkland Moore, b. Glasgow, who married Sarah Jane Currie. Any connections with these families would be appreciated.
