Della, or Ida as she preferred to be known, (Brown) Ritchey was my ggrandmother. She passed almost 15 years ago and with her went information on her lineage. She was born on 20 Nov 1899 in Osceola Mills, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA and died 11 Jun 1992 in Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown, Cambria, Pennsylvania, USA. She married George Howard Ritchey (b. 1887 and d. 1955) and this marriage ended in divorce. She never remarried. From her obituary (which I have attached below) I know that her father was David Clayton Brown and her mother was Bertha Spots (or Spotts?). I know nothing else about either of her parents. Her children were: William R., George, Donald, Howard, Edward, Alice, Cecil, and Thomas.
If there is anyone out there who can help me find more information on my gggrandparents, I would be very thankful!
