My father was Dr. Lester W. Ristow, born in Montana in 1911. He told me his father, August, was born in Schneidugl, Prussia in 1881. His grandfather, Fredrick, was from the same town and was born in 1841. His great grandfather, John Ristow, was born in 1821.
I see a lot of Ristows from Wisconsin, and I suspect we have ties to you folks. My maternal great grandmother and her family (Robison) have a long history there.
I'll try to locate the genealogical data my father left me and check on the inquiries others have posted here.
Information that anyone can share with me will certainly be appreciated
