I've been researching John George Reissinger for several years now. I have 110 typed pages so far and it's growing fast. I have copies of deeds and other info, including some Snow Rowand passenger info. I also have a great deal of info on his son, "Tomfit", who's name was actually Thomas Vitus Reissinger. He was a Loyalist during the American Revolution. John George Reissinger fought in the Cherokee War.

I've transcribed a TON of info. I've posted some Risinger deeds and other transcribed documents on www.palmettoroots.org under Newberry County.

John George Reissinger and wife Rachel were my husband's 6th gr-grandparents.

If you have any questions, just let me know!

Sincerely,
Dana Risinger
