I am researching Rising, Hamilton, and Coward who lived
or lives in Dillon, SC.
My great grandfather was Andrew Rising, his father was John
Rising from Scotland. Andrew's wife was Melisha Ann Hamilton. Andrew's mother was Rachael Coward.
My grandmother Roberta (Berta) Rising (Andrew's daughter)was a cousin to Laura Hamilton.
Laura's parents were Allan and Elizabeth Hamilton. 1880 census listed their children as Laura 6; Monroe 2; and Lizzie 2/12.
I do not know Rachael Coward's parents.
