The website says that this information, about the descendants of Andreas Rish, was provided by members and "friends" of the SC Dutch Fork Genealogical Chapter of the SC Genealogical Society.See the website as above,
genealogical material posted at the website of the Dutch Fork Genealogical Society's web site.

I don't think that all that is listed at the Dutch Fork website is correct, but it does agree with what I have thought for some time, but could not and can't yet prove - that Christina Rish Able was the daughter of Adam Rish by his second wife, Mary Elisabeth Huiet. We have the will of Mary Elisabeth Huiet/Huet's father, Jacob Huiet/Huet, Sr. of 1809, and Mary Elisabeth is clearly identified as Jacob's daughter, "now the lawful wife of Adam Rish."In 1812, both Mary Elisabeth and Adam Rish "X'd" for the receipt of her inheritance from Jacob Huiet/Huet, Sr., in Newberry. We also have family records that indicate that Christina Rish Able and Ida Christine Huiet Phillips were both named after Christina Barbara Shoemaker Huiet and that Christina Rish Able and Ida Christine Huiet Phillips were cousins.
One person missing from the listing for Adam Rish at the Dutch Fork website is Mary Magdelene Rish who married Christian Gable. They went to Mississippi in about the 1840s.Carl Gable's website of the Gables has many records of them and their descendants.I do NOT believe Mary M. Rish who married Christian Gable was the descendant of Adam Rish's brother Andrew Rish.I think there is every reason to believe that she was the daughter of Adam Rish and Mary Elisabeth Huiet. The old "Zelma Price" (sp?) published records have many errors.
