Your message is interesting and what I have in response may be more confusing than enlightening.I have a Humphry Riseborough (1727-1787) who married Amy Harmer (1733-1798) on Oct 10, 1757 in Morston, Nfk. They had at least 10 children. Fourth child John Riseborough (b.Oct, 1766) married Elizabeth Thurtle on June 30, 1878 and had five children. Seventh child Christopher Riseborough married Elizabeth Hagen and had one child, John b.Oct 1803. The fifth child of John and Elizabeth was James, b.Jan 1809, who married Elizabeth Rose on Jan 26, 1833 in Saxthorpe. I have nothing further on any Harmers until the 1930s when a Sidney Harmer married Ethel Broughton and had two daughters, Mary, who married George Catton, and Dora, who married John Batterbee. The Broughtons are another branch of my lineage which is traced back to Edward Broughton and Ann Landry in the 1660-1720 time period.
If any of this connects with any of your info please feel free to followup.
