My name is John Ripley, I go by Jack. Go to the following site I haven't done anything to it in a few years now. I got as far back as Wolfach Germany in the 1700s
August Ripley, brother Ludwig Ripple and three sisters Walburga (Ripple) Meyer, Francis Ripple, and Rosina (Ripple) Eberle emigrated from Wolfach, Baden, Germany during the 1850's and settled in Kewaunee county and the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin. August emigrate in 1854, Ludwig 1851 and Rosine 1857.
