Sylvia: Sorry for the long delay in answering your posted message.I was told that my Grandfather "Benino" was born in San Diego Texas, when? I dont know. I was told by my dad Jose Maria Rios that Benino was married to Francisca Cantu of General Bravo N.L. Mex. They had 3 children together Jose ,Raul and Francisco.They divorced and Benino was not heard from again. Both Grandparents were young and Benino may have married again . Perhaps started a whole new family of Rios. Have you ever been to San Diego Tx?. Is there a courthouse of records there? Perhaps a large Catholic Church? If you have any more info.
