Another obituary mentioning Dennis Ring (Rinn). Looks like Dennis was an in-law through Ellen Osborne Crotty:
ELLEN CROTTY Obituary. Died 12/29/27 (nee "Osborne")

Ellen Crotty, widow of the late David Crotty and one of Erie's pioneer residents, died Thursday morning in St. Vincent's hospital following an illness of the past several months.
Mrs. Crotty was a member of St. Andrew's church, 7th and Rasperry sts., and was widely known among the members of the congregation and also in the northern section of the city where she had made her home for many years.
She leaves three sons, Pierre, David and Richard Crotty and two sisters, Mrs. Dennis Ring of this city and Mrs. JOHN SHEA, of Boston, Mass.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in her late home, 943 W. 4th st., and at 9 a.m. in St. Andrew's church. Interment will be in the family lot in Trinity cemetery.
